No, unfortunately not yet at the moment. We recommend the program Alt.Binz, a very easy-to-use newsreader, which is also good for beginners and has many functions. A guide can be found here. Even for non-Windows users, there is software, a list can be found in the customer area.

No, for security reasons, this is not allowed. Posting rights in individual cases can be activated upon request. Please write us in this case via the contact form to ask for posting rights for your account to activate.

Yes, on 3 of 5 servers SSL-Encrypted downloads are possible, SSL on the fourth server follows.

But we still want to point out that SSL Encrypted Usenet downloads are really not necessary. The Usenet works with 7Bit, but normal home computer with 8Bit. Because of this all the data you get from the newsservers is encrypted, only the newsreader decrypts the data again.

SSL is therefore not strictly necessary, and means for both the server and your computer for a higher load.
